Madison's Niche, in the beautiful village of Sayville New York, is currently accepting resumes for Part Time Seasonal Sales/Cashier/Stylist for our fashion and home decor lifestyle boutique.
Summary
As a Seasonal Sales/Cashier/Stylist, you will be instrumental in delivering outstanding customer service and facilitating smooth retail operations. Reporting to the Store Manager, your core responsibilities will include stocking merchandise, handling cash transactions, and assisting customers with their purchases. Your proficiency in basic math and cash handling will ensure accurate transactions. With premium skills in POS systems and merchandising, you will enhance the shopping experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide product demonstrations will further contribute to our team's success during the busy seasonal period. Join us in creating a welcoming environment for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Stock shelves and maintain merchandise displays to ensure a well-organized store.
- Process returns and exchanges while adhering to store policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the shopping experience.
- Utilize basic math skills for sales transactions.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience in retail sales and cash handling
- Proficiency in basic math and retail math
- Ability to operate cash registers and POS systems
- Knowledge of stocking and merchandising techniques.
Must be available weekends
Must be over 18+ to be considered
Compensation: $16.50 per hour
